The Board of Directors of the Clairton City School District has scheduled a Special Legislative Session for Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at 6:00 P.M., prior to the Work Session.
The Board will be meeting in “Executive Session” 6:00 PM Tuesday 7/17 and 6:00 PM Wednesday 7/18 to discuss personnel matters.
Greater Pittsburgh Vascular Associates (GPVA) donated 1% of their profits to Clairton City School District’s Greater Pittsburgh Vascular School Partnership Incentive Fund. The fund will create incentives for positive situations, bully prevention, high achievements, attendance, student success and testing goals. This donation will help all students in the district K-12.

The universal lead testing regulation went into effect on January 1, 2018. This means that starting in the fall of 2018, every child will need to present a record of being tested for lead before entering kindergarten. Please click here to read more details on this new requirement.

Governor Wolf has closed all Pennsylvania schools “until further notice” so that we may practice social distancing in response to the COVID-19 Pandemic. Clairton City Schools went online Monday, March 30th offering “remote” learning from home.
Google Classroom is the tool being used by Clairton City School District teachers to manage coursework for virtual instruction. The Allegheny Intermediate Unit (AIU) will host virtual workshops to help acclimate family members to the fundamentals of Google Classroom.
We are asking that all students come to the school on June 2nd and 3rd to drop off Technology items such as Chromebooks. At the same time, any personal belongings left at the school can be picked up. Please click for more information.
