Dear Clairton Families,
Today, January 15, 2021, we conclude our first week back to our hybrid in-person learning model on a positive note. We have no reported cases of COVID-19 and no staff or students having to quarantine. We have also placed a new tool, a COVID-19 Tracker on our website for you to monitor the active cases of COVID-19 within the building. Please take a look at it at your convenience.
We were so pleased to see our students again as the first semester of school will end on January 22. Keystone testing will take place next week in the high school. We are also in the process of preparing fourteen portable classrooms to house the elementary students while the building is being restored. It is our hope to occupy those classrooms in the very near future. There will be no school on Monday, January 18, in honor of the Dr. Martin Luther King (MLK) holiday.
Take good care and be safe,
Ginny L. Hunt, Ed.D.
Superintendent
